My Background

My health and wellness journey began in my early 20s, though it truly started as a young girl. From ages 7 to 19, I lived at the dance studio, dreaming of a professional career—until an injury at 19 ended that path and left me with years of severe sciatica.

At the time, I never worried about fitness since my metabolism let me eat anything without gaining weight. But that changed. I joined a gym, felt lost with the equipment, and hated it—until I discovered group fitness. Cardio Kickboxing reignited my love for movement, but poor instruction frustrated me. That’s what led me to get certified and start teaching.

After my second child, I became a certified personal trainer and sports nutrition coach, training clients from my home gym. While I loved it, I missed group classes, so I expanded my certifications and returned to teaching. When Zumba was introduced at my gym, it was a dream come true—combining dance and fitness in a fun, energetic setting. My classes grew so much that I eventually opened my own fitness studio.

For seven amazing years, my studio thrived, offering Zumba, Barre, Bootcamp, Yoga, and more. But despite teaching multiple classes weekly, I struggled with extra weight. That’s when I discovered a new way of eating—whole, real foods instead of carb-free, fat-free, and sugar-free trends that only caused more problems. I learned about blood sugar, hormones, gut health, sleep, and artificial ingredients, and the impact was life-changing. My headaches disappeared, cravings vanished, brain fog lifted, and my digestive and joint issues resolved. I felt amazing for the first time in years!

Seeing my clients experience similar transformations—improved cholesterol, reduced pre-diabetes risk, weight loss, and more—was incredibly rewarding. But as the boutique fitness market became oversaturated, I made the tough decision to close my studio.

Since then, I’ve continued coaching and teaching, but I realized the best way to help even more people—especially those who’ve moved away—is to take my expertise online. My goal is to make healthy living simple, sustainable, and enjoyable, no matter how busy life gets!

My transformation happened in two phases. First, in my late 30's, I discovered that clean eating, quality supplements, and exercise were the keys to feeling my best. Then, after menopause, I had to adjust—focusing on more protein, strength training, and less cardio, along with other changes, to support my body’s changing needs.

Having navigated these challenges firsthand and successfully adapted my approach at different stages of life, I understand what it takes to create lasting, sustainable health—and I’m here to help you do the same.
